Last updated: 4 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Old Money Row LTD ("Old Money Row", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and shares your personal data when you visit oldmoneyrow.store, place an order, contact us, create an account or otherwise use our website and related services.
We process personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We don't sell your personal data.

2. What we collect
Contact information — name, email address, telephone number and postal address.
Order and delivery information — billing address, delivery address, products purchased, order history, and information relating to returns or refunds.
Payment information — card details are entered directly into our payment provider's secure form and never reach our systems. We receive a payment confirmation, the last four digits and the card type.
Account information — username, encrypted password and preferences.
Shopping information — products you view, items added to your basket, and other interactions with the shop.
Customer service information — messages, enquiries and feedback you send us.
Marketing preferences — whether you've chosen to receive promotional communications.
Technical and usage information — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on the site, referring pages, basket activity, and information collected through cookies.
We don't ask for sensitive or special category data, and we ask that you don't send it unless it's genuinely necessary.
3. Where it comes from
Directly from you — when you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our email list, contact support, submit a review, enter a promotion, or otherwise communicate with us.
You're not required to provide every type of data. Where information is necessary to provide a particular service, we may be unable to provide it without.
Automatically — through cookies and similar technologies when you use the site.
From service providers — hosting and e-commerce, payment processing, order fulfilment and delivery, customer support, fraud prevention, analytics, and email and marketing services.
4. Why we hold it, and what allows us to
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Processing orders, taking payment and arranging delivery | Performance of a contract |
| Managing returns, refunds and your account | Performance of a contract |
| Customer support and resolving enquiries | Performance of a contract |
| Fraud prevention, security and protecting our customers | Legitimate interests |
| Analysing site use and improving our services | Legitimate interests |
| Tax, accounting and other legal obligations | Legal obligation |
| Responding to lawful requests from authorities | Legal obligation |
| Marketing emails and promotions | Consent |
| Analytics and advertising cookies | Consent |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we've considered whether our interest is outweighed by your rights, and you can object at any time.
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it whenever you like. That doesn't affect anything processed beforehand.
Buying from us is never conditional on agreeing to marketing.
5. Marketing
Marketing messages go only to people who have actively opted in. Providing your email address at checkout doesn't sign you up.
Where you have opted in, we may send news, product information and promotions.
Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email. Opting out won't stop transactional messages about your orders, account or support enquiries — we need those to complete your purchase.
6. Cookies
| Type | What it does | Optional? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Basket, checkout, account login, security | No — the site won't work without these |
| Functional | Remembers your preferences and settings | Yes |
| Analytics | Traffic, performance and error measurement | Yes |
| Advertising | Ad measurement and personalisation | Yes |
Non-essential cookies are set only after you've given consent through our cookie banner, as the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations require. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time through the banner or your browser settings.
Blocking certain cookies may affect how parts of the website work, and disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent checkout from functioning.
Do Not Track: browsers send DNT signals inconsistently and there's no agreed standard, so we don't act on them. We do honour Global Privacy Control signals where transmitted.
7. Who else sees it
We may share personal data with trusted service providers that help us with:
- Hosting and operating the online shop
- Payment processing
- Order fulfilment and delivery
- Customer service
- Technology and cloud services
- Fraud prevention and security
- Analytics and website improvement
- Marketing communications, where you've consented
- Professional, legal and accounting services
Each receives only what its function requires and processes it under our instructions. We have data processing agreements in place with our processors.
We may also disclose where required by law, legal process or regulatory obligation, or where reasonably necessary to protect our customers, our business or others.
If the business is restructured, sold or merged, relevant personal data may transfer as part of that transaction, on the basis that the recipient handles it in line with this policy.
8. User-generated content
Our services may allow you to submit reviews, comments, photographs or other content.
If you publish information in a public area of our services, it may be visible to other people. Please avoid including personal or confidential information you don't wish to make public.
9. Third-party websites
Our website may contain links to websites, services or platforms operated by third parties.
We're not responsible for their privacy, security, content or practices. If you follow an external link, review that organisation's privacy policy before providing personal data.
10. Information leaving the UK
Some of our providers process personal data outside the United Kingdom.
Where a transfer is a restricted transfer under UK data protection law, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
11. How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Order and transaction records | 6 years — HMRC requirement |
| Account information | Until you close your account |
| Marketing subscriptions | Until you unsubscribe |
| Customer support correspondence | 2 years after the matter closes |
| Website analytics | 26 months |
| Fraud prevention records | 3 years |
Where a dispute or legal claim is live, the relevant records stay as long as they're needed. Otherwise they're deleted, anonymised or securely destroyed.
12. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and request a copy
- Rectification of data that's inaccurate or incomplete
- Erasure of your personal data, in certain circumstances
- Restriction of how we process it, in certain circumstances
- Data portability — your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and always to direct marketing
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis
- Avoid decisions made purely by automated processing that carry legal effects
These rights aren't absolute and may be subject to exemptions under applicable law.
To exercise a right, email support@oldmoneyrow.store. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm your identity, usually by checking details of a recent order.
We respond within one month. Complex requests may take a further two months, and we'll tell you inside the first month if that applies. There's no charge, and we won't treat you unfairly for exercising your rights.
13. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure — including SSL/TLS encryption across the site, restricted internal access, and a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider.
No online service or method of electronic transmission is completely secure. Take reasonable precautions when sharing information online, and avoid sending sensitive information through unsecured channels.
If you have an account, keeping your login details confidential is your responsibility. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.
Where a breach is likely to pose a high risk to your rights, we'll tell you without undue delay and report it to the Information Commissioner's Office, as the law requires.
14. Children
Our website isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
If you're a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with their details, contact us and we'll remove them.
15. Complaints
Raise it with us first — support@oldmoneyrow.store. We acknowledge complaints within five working days and investigate without undue delay.
If our response doesn't satisfy you, you have the right to complain to:

16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our business practices, services, technology or legal requirements.
The current version always sits on this page with the date above. Where a change materially affects how we handle your data, we'll take whatever additional steps the law requires.
